The French musical, based on the play by Michel Tremblay, debuted in Quebec in 2010 and its success launched it to Paris in 2012. Original director of the French musical, René Richard Cyr, will return to direct the English production. While there is immense challenges in translating Quebecois slang to English, Cyr promises that the essence of the story will maintain its integrity. Belles Soeurs: The Musical opens at the Segal Centre on October 19, 2014.
