The 16th edition of Montréal en Lumière, the annual winter festival offering extensive programming in performing arts, gastronomy, and free outdoor activities will run from February 19 to March 1st. Every year, the festival closes with the ever-so-popular Nuit Blanche on February 28, an entire night (from sunset to sunrise) of discoveries in music, art installations, exhibitions, dance, and more. All activities are free and linked by free shuttle service. Check out the Montréal en Lumière website for more information.

Dance at Montréal en Lumière
The Montréal en Lumière festival may be all about culinary delights and signature dishes, but there’s still something for dance fans to sink their teeth into. The Out Innerspace dance theatre brings us Me So You So Me – a dance duet said to pepper their performance with ‘absurd humour and dry wit’ on the 20th and 21st of February. You can also catch the legendary Margie Gillis –who’s celebrating a 40-year career – and a selection of her choreographies at the Festival the 26th to 28th. Both are performing at the Agora de la Danse and you can get your tickets here: http://www.montrealenlumiere.com/arts-en/shows-serie.aspx?categorie=danse
